The tiers & pricing
You pay per scan, by the size of the package — nothing monthly to start, and your first scan is on us.
- Small — $10. A single permit set or short package.
- Medium — $20. A typical bid package.
- Large — $30. A big multi-volume set.
Bigger than that, there’s a “talk to us” path for the heavy ones. Credits are prepaid — load a balance, each scan draws from it, you only pay for what you scan. Standard is live today: prepaid credits, the full brief and default outputs, and up to three teammates on your account. Prois live at $50 per seat, monthly — it adds the one-click RFI letter compiler and raises your workspace to ten seats. Running at GC or enterprise scale, or want a build tuned to your operation? That’s a custom path — reach out.
Your files
Here’s exactly what happens to a bid you upload. BidScan reads the text out of your documents. A document we read in full — the original comes off our storage right after. One we couldn’t read in full, we keep: that file is what a further pass has to read from, and it stays until you ask us to remove it. What we keep either way is the text we read and the findings we drew from it, attached to your account — along with your trades, your scope and your standing facts, which you set once and every read follows. Your corpus stays yours. We never use your documents, their contents, or your results to produce a read for any other customer, and we don’t sell your data.

How we source
Every finding points back to where it lives in your documents — the field, the value, and the source line it came from. Open any finding and see the page and passage it’s drawn from. Nothing is asserted that the documents don’t say. If BidScan tells you liquidated damages run $2,500/day, it’ll show you the sentence that says so.
We don’t assume
The hardest part of reading a bid isn’t what’s on the page — it’s what’s missing. Most tools quietly fill the gaps. BidScan does the opposite: where your documents go silent on something that matters — a bond requirement that’s never stated, a wage determination that isn’t attached, a scope referenced but not included — it says so plainly and flags it as a question to run down. No. Bid leveling compares many subcontractor bids after they come in. BidScan reads your one bid package before you price it — surfacing the scope gaps and obligations in the documents themselves.
